Largs is situated on the West Coast of Scotland, 30 miles South West of Glasgow. It is a small tourist town with a population of 20,000. A Ferry Service runs from Largs to Isle of Cumbrae. Largs Yacht Haven is situated between Largs and Fairlie.

by car: the airport lies to the west of the City and is within easy reach of most places in Scotland. The M8 Motorway via Junction 28 gives easy access to and from the airport. The airport is about 20 minutes drive from Glasgow City Centre and 40 minutes from Largs. From the airport, follow signs for the A737 to Irvine for 10 miles until you reach a small roundabout, turn right towards Lochwinnoch A760, through Kilbirnie and onto Largs.

by train: Paisley Gilmour Street is the nearest train station to the Airport, and is located just two miles from the airport. It can be reached by taxi or by the frequent bus service which departs every 10 minutes from the terminal forecourt (journey time 10 minutes). The journey to Largs takes 50 minutes and goes every hour.
