The fleet will race from Rhu to Rothesay on Tuesday, and will remain there during Wednesday. Rothesay is a small seaside town situated on the Isle of Bute. A Ferry service runs directly from Wemyss Bay (to the north of Largs) to Rothesay. Marina berthing will be available to the smaller yachts of the fleet, and others will need to anchor in Rothesay Bay.
To
get to Rothesay, the ferry service operates from Wemyss Bay every 45 minutes.
The cost is about £6 per person and £24 per car.
